Dallas has been a true musical adventure for European-born Eneti. He’s been a member of several symphony orchestras and ensembles from the outset. However, his ongoing work with the Light Crust Doughboys has truly been
one of those “Only in Texas” tales.
When Eneti was approached by Art Greenhaw, the leader of the band who offered him a fiddling position in 2013, he was quickly immersed in the world of cowboy hats and classic Western Swing music. Founded by the legendary Bob Wills in 1931, the Doughboys have been playing ever since. As a member of the world-famous band, Marek engages in regular fiddling duels on stage, swapping fierce violin licks with Jim Baker.
In addition to his work with the band, and while not touring Marek enjoys playing for retirement and senior communities all over the Metroplex. He believes our seniors are among the most appreciative audiences anywhere and looks forward to playing for them.
