Kim Simpson is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, author and radio host based in Austin, Texas. His new Songs and Sightings CD collects remastered recordings he's made between 1992 and 2014 and he's the author of a book called Early '70s Radio: The American Format Revolution. You can hear Kim as a disc jockey on Austin radio station KOOP (91.7 FM).
SPECIAL EVENTS
Kim is open to performing at any event that would benefit from soothing background music or a more entertaining performance that would showcase his virtuosity in multiple genres, including outstanding vocal work in several different languages.
WEDDINGS
Kim is perfect for your wedding ceremony. He works closely with you and/or your planner to choose the perfect musical selections for the carious processionals and recessional; and if needed, any musical interludes during the ceremony. Typically, Kim would play for about twenty minutes before the ceremony begins, as your guests arrive, mingle and find their seats.
In additions to the ceremony, he is available to perform during other segments of your event. This would include rehearsal dinner, post-ceremony cocktail hour, reception dinner, etc.
Personlized Music
If you and your fiance have a particular tune you consider "your song", by all means let us know. Kim will have it ready to add that personal touch to your ceremony. We'll also work with you to create a special musical vibe or theme for your wedding. Traditional or more ecclectic, or maybe a traditional ceremony, followed by a more contemporary cocktail hour.
