Mike Mendoza is a saxophonist based in San Jose, California.  For over 30 years, he has performed for many events in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as all along the West Coast, performing Smooth Jazz, Pop, Soul, R&B, Rock n' Roll, Funk, and Latin music.  In addition, Mike has performed the National Anthem for the San Francisco Giants, San Jose Sharks, San Jose Giants and San Jose Earthquakes.
In 2020, Mike began performing Jazz, Pop, and R&B music by live-streaming shows during the pandemic, which was the beginning of ‘Sax Sessions with Mike Mendoza’.  Once the shelter in place ended, Mike began to take the ‘Sax Sessions’ show to wineries, restaurants, and various private events.  With over 25 years of performance experience from performing in various bands in the Bay Area, Mike has tailored ‘Sax Sessions’ to include many styles of music to entertain listeners of all ages. 
Currently, you can find Mike performing around the Bay Area at wineries, restaurants, senior and retirment communities as well at private events as a solo saxophonist with his Jazz, Pop, and R&B show ‘Sax Sessions with Mike Mendoza’ as well as the POP/R&B/TOP 40 cover band ‘Touch of Class’.
