Over the years, many people have asked me where I came from and how I got started doing what I do. Here is a capsulized version of my history:
Born and raised in South Philadelphia, I attended Bishop Neumann high school, Penn State University & Combs College of Music, where I studied Piano & Composition. After college, some of you might remember me from my work as a singer/songwriter in an 8-piece original group called, " Dirty Martha", for 8 years. When that ended, I joined a 5-piece band, " MorningStar", and worked clubs and casinos for many years.
In the late 80's, I ran my own production company for a while and did many, various promotions in the Tri-State area. In 1990, I auditioned in New York for BARRY MANILOW PRESENTS COPACABANA and got the gig as the bad guy, 'Rico'. What a wonderful job that was!!! Barry was a very cool dude and treated the cast like gold! I followed that up with several other shows in Atlantic City and the surrounding area (CABARET; DRACULA; CHICAGO). I did a stint hosting Karaoke & Trivia promotions for several years 'down the shore', hosted a Philly based weekly TV magazine called OUT ON THE TOWN, as well as continuing my singing career.
In 2008, I moved to Vegas and have been working here steadily since then. I have done musicals (LES MIZ; CABARET; GUYS & DOLLS; MY FAIR LADY) and hosted many events and shows in town. I even sang back up for Streisand.
All in all, it's been a FUN & FABULOUS career so far!
