John G has a rich background playing live and in the studio in nearly every musical genre.
From Classical, Jazz and Swing to Rock, Soul, Funk, Beach, and even a little Country.
He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Music Education and has performed nationally with artists such as Dizzy Gillespie and Natalie Cole.
John has performed/recorded regionally with The Breeze, Band of Oz, Big Sam, Fantastic Shakers and has been featured as a singer and/or composer on numerous commercials and radio hits.
He has been performing as a solo artist since 2008 and more recently began appearing throughout the Carolinas for the best audiences in the world, our seniors in retirement communities.
John G was inducted into the Carolina Beach Music Awards Hall Of Fame in 2019.
